A letter to my future

Dear Future Me,

I hope that today you are the person you always set out to be. I hope you accomplished everything that they said you could never do. How many lives do you change in a day? Do you speak out for what is right, or sit there regretting your silence? I hope you are what I’m not. I hope you speak out with such a voice that everyone around you can hear it even when you aren’t speaking. I want you to have power in the way you speak giving light into someone’s world filled with darkness. I hope you live as if you are the only one capable of making a difference, and embracing that ability in the best way possible. You don’t need to have your name written in the text of a history book, but you need to live to make your words give life to the ones who thought they didn’t deserve one. When you read this letter, I hope you are somewhere where all of you previous goals can be made accomplishments. I hope you still remember your past, and pass on your story to those who need to hear it most to show them that they are not alone. I hope you achieved that brighter, happier life you used to daydream about when you were younger. I hope all of your dreams became your reality, and I hope that eventually your nightmares dissolved into the depths of your past never haunting you again. I hope you that you one day took off the mask that hid the truth. That you broke down the barriers you built, and learned to trust someone really trust them somewhere along your journey. I hope that you look in the mirror with a small, true smile and be proud of what you see. I hope that you learned to break through the surface of the water drowning you anxiety. I hope that you now see the world from a whole new perspective, and learned to enjoy the sun more than the rain.. Most of all, I hope you learned to speak. To speak in such a voice that must be heard a voice that embroiders your words onto a heart that needed them most. I hope you are happy, and teach ones who are like the old you to be happy as well. I hope that today you are the person you always set out to be.

Frohes Neues Jahr ! Selamat Tahun Baru 2015 ! Alhamdulillah tahun 2015 ini mengucapkan syukur kepada Sang Pencipta karena masih bisa membuka lembaran baru di tahun ini . Well, my last year in 2014 so great and full of happines with all my family special my little brother , all of my friends at the office but not without you xoxoxo.

Dear My 2014,

Tahun yang kulewati dengan banyak kejadian-kejadian yang menarik dan sulit aku lupakan, dimulai dari diterimanya aku di sebuah Perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang Printed Media a.k.a Majalah. Dari hari-hari yang awalnya kikuk dan saat ini berjalan dengan mudahnya but sometimes i can’t handle it, di tahun 2014 ini aku bisa menyelesaikan pendidikan S1 dengan menyandang gelar S.Pd Sarjana Pendidikan Sejarah Alhamdulillah bisa membuat kedua orang tua bernafas lega hahaha, tetap menjalani berbagai aktivitas organisasi dan masih belum bisa meninggalkan passion mengajar yaa walaupun aku hanya menyediakan 1 hari untuk masih bisa mengajar di LPIA dan Gama UI itu menyenangkan #AsahMakaTajam masih sangat lekat dipikiranku untuk selalu belajar..belajar dan terus belajar supaya ilmu yang sebelumnya kita punya berkembang dan dapat bermanfaat.

Apa ada istilah Campus Sick? Walaupun tidak ada tapi aku terkadang merasakannya, rindu menjadi anak kuliahan kembali, datang ke kelas, berkumpul bersama teman, mengerjakan tugas dan menjadi anak kampus. Memang jika teman-teman aku mendengar celotehan aku tentang itu mereka dengan mudah membalikkan “yaa..sudah kuliah lagi S2” mungkin mudah mengcapkan hal tersebut tapi butuh perjuangan untuk merealisasikannya. Mimpi untuk melanjutkan sekolah masih terdapat dalam wishlist paling atas, namun sepertinya strateginya masih belum tepat untuk merealisasikannya. Selain sekarang sudah menikmati pekerjaan dan mungkin agak sedikit perubahan yang harus aku lakukan terlebih dahulu. Hoalaaaa satu demi satu sudah mulai di ceklist wishlist nya !!! Semua memang berawal dari niat, usaha dan doa didukung dengan penghasilan (no matter what you think, everyone need money).

Tahun pertama di MRA Printed Media, melakukan pekerjaan dengan job desc (done!), memperbanyak koneksi (done!), jadi anak event (verydone!), lembur sampai malam kalau ada event (welldone!), make a sense belonging for the team.. Thanks my Manager Mba Pipit, My Asst. Manager Mba Rosa, My partner on event Yunus and Sendy, My Artistic Albert, then My Leave Group : Rani, Anto, Ray, Edo, Allan,Caroline (veryveryverydone!) ayo kita lihat ditahun 2015 siapa yang akan lulus dari MRA whoop ! dan mereka yang selalu setia mau diajak jalan-jalan dari team Cosmo : Imel dan Dwi , Bazaar : Icha , Trax : Muti (ternyata kamu lulus di akhir tahun 2014). Hahaha mention semua berasa aku yang akan lulus setelah ini.

Lebih-lebih daripada jadi anak CBC sebelumnya, whoop ! yaa karena tuntutan dari klien yang maunya ini itu ini itu.. but so far we can do it until last year 2014 and almost achiev for the target. Mungkin nanti aku akan dokumentasikan semuanya xoxo.

Hobi lama kebiasaan lama.. masih senang dengan me time walaupun hanya dengan baca novel ditempat tidur dengan playlist yang easy listening (bisa ditebak siapa penyanyi nya kan? Hahah) atau hanya sekedar menonton film di bioskop teteup pulangnya mampir ke toko buku dan toko buah (sok, jadi anak pintar dan hidup sehat haha) anyway koleksi novel aku bertambah dari mulai seri The Mortal Instruments 1-5, Clockwork Series, Dan Brown de-el-el entah habit baru tapi saat ini jadi suka novel fiksi, tapi demi eksistensi yaa tetep masih baca buku sejarah walaupun berupa novel hahaha.. hmmm resolusinya sih di tahun 2015 ini mau koleksi novel bahasa inggris karena biasanya Cuma baca di google play namun sekarang beralih ke bentuk fisiknya.. hah lumayan yaa harganya terkadang 2x lipat dengan harga novel terjemahannya. Yeay sudah buat list buku yang must have in 2015. Yaa semoga saja karena terlalu suka baca novel hidup jangan kebawa cerita novel BYE !
